Look a great boat and even better you have an ankle biter to keep you company!
Nice to see an old Johno outboard looking in such well cared for shape!
Make sure you have an EPIRB and it is fitted where you can grab it in an instants notice! Likewise a couple of lifejackets!
When you are upside down (God forbid) it is too late to go diving under the hull to find them!
Great idea is to buy a "grab bag" that are fairly cheap and store all the stuff you need if you have to get into the wet stuff!
All you need now are some dried out worms and pilly/squid guts stuck to her to make a great fishing boat.
Enjoy her and top fishing!

I know that boat!

It's was my mates, you got a good buy there. He looked after it very well, for a young bloke he knows a fair bit about them and the sea (maybe casue of the job that he does!). I am sure it will service your needs for many years to come. Good luck with the new addition.

That's a great looking boat. :) There's probably more useable space in that than alot of the big shiny half cabins around.

Good to see the lifejackets on. I always put them on mine but my kids are a lot younger.

Thats a great setup at the ramp to. Easy in and out. Where are you?
Remember have fun. All the best. :)

Whats the opinion on decking a boat out with carpet..any point? :-?

revs57
01-04-2006, 11:23 AM
Mate I reckon carpet is worth the effort...I put ribbed carpet in my rig...helps to channel any floor water toward the stern and takes out the slippery floor factor

nice outfit BTW...you'll have many hours of family bonding I'm sure

Cheers
