50hp ?

Purchasing a new motor for my 3.9m stessl runabout, i have just checked the plate for max hp rating and it says 50hp. That seems pretty high for such a small boat, would that be correct or have they made a mistake? I would think that she would pretty much take off with that sort of power.

I have a yalta craft 4.2 glass here with a 50 hp and it bangs along so that would fly

I have a 3.75 Stessel edgetracker and it's max. is 20hp

I think you may be right boys, 50hp and i think she would turn inside out, i am trying to contact stessl direct to confirm this but finding it very difficult, does anyone know of some one i could call direct to clear this up for me. Thanks
