Warranty on new motors

was just reading my warranty and according to the book i have 2 years .
However as i read on it states that in the second year it says Yamaha peripheral [ whatever that means] included with the motor such as gauges,fuel tanks and hoses,remote control boxes,properellers,and wiring external from themotor unitwill be only warranted for 1 year.
Anyone find this to be normal practice.

Peripheral basically means things which are not a party of the actual motor like accessories but are connected to the motor like fuel tanks and propellors as you said. I would think this is normal practise for Yamaha to do that. Joey.
