Hey guys,

I need more help. #I am about to buy a Minn Kota RT55-AP bow mount. #I am putting it on a De Havilland 3.9 tinny. #This boat isn't very wide and I don't have much room on the bow to mount it due to my nav lights. #

Does anybody know somebody around the Gold Coast or even Brisbane area that mounts these things? #I don't wanna buy one and just blunder through this. #My local boat shops all sell them but shrug their shoulders when it comes to fitting them.

What have you guys done?

Cheers for any help
Mark

I know Stones Corner Marine do fit some sort of bracket to boats, but they may cost a bit.

Hi Mark,

I've just fitted one to my explorer, did the job myself without too many problems. Did a search on Google and found a great article (local to brisbane)complete with pictures on how to instal it. Sorry can't remember what the site was. Bought a 50amp auto reset circuit breaker from Brisbane Auto Electrics, Wolloongabba. Runs great.
