This is a 580 Maxi in a our runabout version.
Powered with a 140 Suzi and some basic options...Kill tank, transom door ,folding targa ect.
The owner is doing the canopy himself in Victoria.
Went really nice with the 140 and has a huge open back deck.

Cheers Col

col,

did you have any performance figures from the 140 on that hull, ie cruising speed, top speed etc. what is the ride like up at the nose of the boat. did you find you had to trim it differently to a centre cab or centre console boat. or did the runabout configuration have no impact on the weight distribution.

cheers andrew

definitly look better unpainted, the way a tinnie (platey) should be

Hi Andrew,
Mate we didn't get figures as there was no GPS on board.
It was fairly nippy.
I'd guess at top speed around 33-34 kts and cruising would be approx 22kts @ 4500-4800 rpm's.
Will get the figures off the owner when he fits his electronics up.
The ride up towards the front was good even better then expected.
Wouldn't mind doing one similar with a couple short bunks under the foredeck for something different.
That would still leave a fairly big open back deck with a bit of shelter for the young fellas after a hard day's fishing. :)
Everything is alloy, the less stainless the better!!

Cheers Col
