Trailer protection

I know it has been discussed here before, but i have just purcahsed new boat and trailer and want advice on whsat i should do, if anything to help protect new trailer. Have compressor and sray gun.

What ratio would i use, and do i just go crazy and spray everything that is metal or do i need to avoid rollers hubs etc?????

I sprayed my trailer 12 months ago with lanoguard 3000 and it still has a sticky residue on it. Top stuff.

I do use Inox but mainly on the motor.

Not to keen to have a sticky residue as i do alot of beach work with boat trailer, i feel that the sand willstick to everything i have sprayed and be there forever!

After the Lanolin,take it for a drive on a dirt road, that will put a film over the surface. Then if you want to sell, pressure clean the lot, and it will look like new.

I have tried this on a small section of my trailer 2 years ago.
So far so good.

Brush or spray on some concrete driveway sealer dries clear, flexible and leaves a plastic film.

I haven't seen any rust under it yet but that was my major concern, depriving the gal trailer of air.

I use a Klamp-It to deter thieves, but your method sounds way more fun ;D ;D ;D ;)
