Just order my new boat. Well what is she
It is a Bidgie 3500 (I can here it now a WHAT)
Well a Bidgie 3500 is a local made 3.5 meter punt, its a bit higher in the sides than your standard car topper, it will have a rear bench and front bench seat. The front seat will flow (for want of a better word) into a casting deck up foward. Under the casting deck there will be hatches for storage- anchor, battery (for electric motor).
The boat is being customised to my design from there stanard 3500
This deal has been done the old fashion way, no deposit and a hand shake.
The wait time, within the next 3 months as I am not in a hurry
The price is $1300
cheers

ps
will post some pics as the boat takes shape (its only a jig ATM)

I will be putting my 18hp aux of my other boat Kev
Its only at the jig stage yet Nugget, I will post some pics as she gets built.
Nearly brought one just before I busted the other boat so it got put on hold.
Looked a lots of concepts, building my own glass one in either a cat or tri, theres a few moulds around I could have borrowed but the weight ended up being an issue if I want to car top.
Looked into hiring the jig and building a plate version of the one I ordered but again the extra weight may be a problem.
So at the end of the day I just said build it for me.
cheers
