This is "Black Jack".
It's a 580 Maxi walkaround with a hard top.
It's powered with a 175 Suzi and kicks along to around 40 kts.
Has a transom door, removable aft seat, live bait tank, bait board, tabs and a few other options.

Cheers Col

Another awesome rig Col -I'm drooling all over the place here!!

Now for the usual question - what's a ballpark $$ figure for one decked out like this?

Cheers

Col,

Saw this one on your website earlier in the week, very nice 8-) 8-)

Have been waiting to see one come out in black !!
Looks a treat with the gold trimmings and matching donk !!

I'm a dead set dribbling wreck every time I see pics of one of your new creations.
Will be hard to choose just one when the time comes :P

Do you have any fuel consumption figures for the 150 & 175 Suzzies ??
Are they better than the comparative sizes with other brands :-X

Cheers
Craigie.

Another beauty Col, do you guys get any time to sleep/eat/fish between building boats? :o About the best compliment I could pay you is that those boats have a finish that is just like (fibre) glass! A real credit to you and your team. Where's "Black Jack" going to live?

Col,
How do you think you go fitting one of these into one of you hulls. I am contemplating going down this path with the next boat.

Kev, Jack.....In the low to mid 60's. #

Craigie............Have to send some rags over for you :D
Not going there with the comparisons, #::) but on a 620 Maxi hull ,running offshore in a general days fishing with a 175 Suzi we are using around 17 ltrs/hr. Haven't done anything with the 150 hp YET.
The black looks nice as long as you want to put the time in cleaning it after use.

Cheers......... Scott #;) It's gone to Wondai. About 2 hrs west of Mooloolaba.

Ron...We can do that, the boys have been getting keen to do a sterndrive in amongst things. Will have the 730 finished soon, it would be nice with a 300hp Stern drive or 300 hp Suzi #;)

Cheers Col

Col you have a good eye, that is infact a 300hp Yanmar diesel sterndrive. Do you think you could still incorperate your water balast system with the sterndrive. Also how do you think the deck would end up, with a step in it or a flat floor. Will be interested to see how the 730 will turn out as it is getting very close to the size of boat I'm considering for my next one. More info on it would be fantastic.

the price of fuel and outboards the diesel is a serious option. was amazed at the economy on a recent trip allready considering it on my next boat.A while off yet though.
Col the price ur suggesting is that as is on trailer motor etc.

Top stuff Col and Team Fisher :P :P :P :P

What is in the panel on the side of the transom near the transom door ?

That 175 will have any easy life pushin the 580 around - what prop diametre/pitch is on it ?

Cheers

Hey Ron, Probably easier if you gave me a bell or email.
Don't want to post anything on the 730 until it's finished but could email you some progress pics if you wish.

Brrbear, Have sent you a message.

Greg,
Just an access panel to the trim tab pump and a couple breather hoses.
It's doing it real easy 8-), it's swinging a 15 x 21 and pulling 6100rpm's. :o

Cheers
