Johnson and Suzki 4 stroke outboards

Hi all

I was told today by a Dealer that Johnson and Suzki 4 strokes are the same motor. Is this true?

I think Johnson basically re-badge the Suzuki 4strokes and call em Johnsons.

I have a 90 HP. Made by Suzi in Japan, painted white with Johnson decals. Comes with Johnson controls & instruments. Other than that - identical.

just a quick bit of info, johnson will drop there 4-stroke brand, suzuki and BRP will no longer have a joint venture, BRP will in future concentrate on e-tech, if you where to be considering johnson 4-stroke and shoping on price it would be better option to look at suzuki direct and maybe pay a little more. or a honda of course!!
