Dodgy or Not?

I went to a marine dealership the other day and was looking at a 4.6 metre Stacer Seahorse. I was reading the stacer website and it was saying it had 3mm bottom and 1.6mm sides.

Now the bloke at the marine dealership says it was custom made and had 3mm bottom and 2mm sides. I know that most manufacturers have optional extras like bow rails and the like. But would stacer make a seahorse to different specifications in the hull.

don't quote me but 3mm-2mm is with the 5.25 seahorse(i have one) and the 3mm-1.6 is with every other one in the range, i'd say it was easier for the salesman to say 2mm, than 1.6, nothing like stretching the truth a bit for a sale, rest assured the topsides will be 1.6.

Yes they do, saw one for sale at a boat show 4.2 sea horse with 3mm bottom instead of 2mm they said its an option if somebody wanted it.
