Anyone ever had a motor that will not start unless the motor was fully
trimmed right down.
I once owned a 200 hp Mariner and would not start even if leg was slightly up.
May have been one of those mysteries.

I'm guessing it might be a fuel bowl level issue, I have noticed that we I'm flashing the motor it seems to run richer when tilted lower and idles faster when trimmed out.

Foat level too high(more than likely flooding the engine) or too low

G'day
Agreed with the fuel level in the bowl. Check the float levels.

once it starts there was no problem.
Just when cold starting.
