Just to let you know, I put a post up a couple of months ago re "oiling up" the plugs on my CV 30 Yamaha after very short intervals of trolling. Anyway, the problem has been solved. I traded the CV 30 on a new 3 cylinder Yamaha 30D. I should acknowledge the fantastic deal and service that I recieved from Steve Smith at Marinetune at Burleigh. Simply brilliant. And the motor? Much improved, I spent two hours on Monday doing the initial "running in" ( it was too windy to fish). Today I went to Kingfisher and back, did 18 nautical miles for a fuel use of 7 litres with a maxium speed of 29 knots and that hooting in my 4.1 Brooker. This should last a few years then I will trade to either a fourstroke or direct injection twostroke, I just didn't want to outlay that much cash at the moment besides 18 nm on 7L is not excessive.
