plugger..
follow these directions to a tee or you will break the skeg
You need 2 x ballpein Hammers 2-4lb bigger the better
Look at the skeg. image which side you need to hit to straighten the skeg now place one of the hammers behind the face you need to hit to straighten the skeg. Now with the other Hammer hit the skeg to straighten it using the flat face of the hammer.
Looking at it you should be trying to hit the flat face of one hammer with the flat face of the other but with the bent skeg in the middle and hitting in the direction needed to straighten it
cheers

do you think i should adjust the trim tab it is very heavy to steer i mean you get a sore arm the motor has a wing and the motor is loose to steer out of water

:-[ Don't want to alarm anyone needlessly .... but ... I had to weld one back on once after a well meaning mechanic tried just that. Alloy does not like being worked too much when cold. Because it is bent, it has already been stressed, and needs to be anealed prior to reworking (straightening). This requires heat from a welding torch.
You can try it cold. Just be aware of the possibility of having to pull the leg apart and have it welded again. Check carefully for cracks after you straighten the fin.
Remember, if you aply heat, you will need to pull the mechanicals out because, the heat will destroy seals, and possibly the bearings. :-/
Just an oppinion of an old welder. Well, not that old. :)

Plugger43 Mate i would look at the trim tabs take it off then try the boat to see if the problem is still there
Cheers
