Found my fuel sender float full of fuel.
Is it possible to just buy the float, is welding the plastic float a option.

Brrbear,

have you priced a new sender, maybe you should replace the whole thing if its in a bad condition

yea garry $70 .
It's only a few years old and only seems to be the float.

any cork will do as a float if you are unable to repair that one, my thoughts are what ever you use to repair the float will be fuel efftected and most likely fail again.

i scabbed a float out of a old carby that fitted inside the failed float it seems to work fine i'll give it a few days before i reseal the floor.

re-seal sender gasket with stag - has proven to work 100%
