G'day
Pretty simple really. Drill thorugh the transom where the holes are on the outboard bracket. Use 316 stinless. Use nice big flat washers and locknuts on the inside. As you thread the bolt through, inject some sikaflex into the hole to seal it all up.

Thanks Dave, Sound simple enough.

Stephen,
make sure you have a few trips under your belt and your happy with the setup of the new motor before you bolt it. No use drilling extra holes ;)
Garry
Gary,
Thanks for the tip, I have had the motor on for about six weeks now with 5 trips and it seems to go OK, The only reason I want to bolt it on is so some bastard can't easily knock it off.
will it change the running off it if I do bolt it on?
Cheers

Hi Stephen,
it will not change the running if you bolt it exactly where you want it. I too would be bolting it especially if you do not remove it for storage

Garry,
Thanks for the advice, you got me thinking so I dropped in to River city Marine for a
chat, and I would have bolted on in the wrong position!!
Thanks for keeping me thinking, it all sounded to easy
Cheers
Stephen
