8-) Great site you people have here, wondering if anyone has plans for around a six metre plate boat, doesnt mater what configureration, but i do intend to make it a centrecab. Hopeing can go for water trial, actually will only build if i go on water test, dont want to build a lemon :'( any leads will be greatly appreciated. Perry

Hi Madmackeral,
Saw in the paper today a new Boat Builder in Perth WA, thats doing a Centre Cab 6.5, is'nt offering plans , but is offering the Hulls bare, have a look, www.cncmarine.com.au, these boats actually look OK!!!

madmackerel a young fella by the name of jay is working behind MR T tinnies at capalaba he is building his 6.0mtr plate now and built one for the boys at wondal road marine drop in and see any of them and they will show you the rig.goes very well i hear too.jays is going to be a centre cab too.

G'day madmackrel, not sure where you're from, but saw a nice 6.3mtr plate boat at springwood marine today, centre cab, looked like it was set up well.
I know you said you were looking to get one made, but this might help with the planning.

Gday mate
I have been looking at making a platey over the next 3-4 years when i get some more room. I just gotta find a boat to use while i build it.

The F&B Plate Alloy Boats of Australia magazine is a bloody good read and will tell you where to get the plans from and wich ones are best to look at.
It costs $20 but it is worth it.
