Charging Battery using Minn kota plug

I had a chat to a boat dealer today about installing a suitable solution for charging my deep cycle battery. My problem is that the battery is tucked away in a compartment and it is difficult to get to to connect the leads fro my external charge. He suggested using the Minn Kota power plug to connect my charger to my battery. Power plug is shown below.

Can anyone see any issues with this setup?

no mate i had mine set up the same way it worked a treat

These are sold for the purpose and should be ideal. In the USA you can get colourccoded ones - red for the charger plug.
