Clark Abalone

I have an old 4.9m Abalone Clark, and I am putting a floor in comprised of 18mm Marine Ply.

Do I need to make a frame underneath or not ? At the moment with the ply sitting loose on the ribs she looks and feels pretty firm.

Also what sort of HP does this size boat need? anyone run had any experience with this size hull on a 40HP?

yer i got one mate i've got alum angle going across for the floor to sit on 70hp is best for this rig they are 4.8 mtrs 16ft and very wet a good all round robust boat i fish 20miles wide no worries cheers
