1980's Marlin Broadbill??

G'day
A mate of mine is looking at buying an 80's model Broadbill aluminium cat, a 6 metre model, similar to what MrLuminous has below. Looking for general advice (seakeeping/build quality etc)re these boats so I can pass onto him. MrLuminous can you assist?

Broadbills were quite a good boat, built by Ross Hunter, a guy who knew/knows his stuff, but remember a 1980's boat is getting on a bit now so corosion could be a problem as well as the possibility of cracks.

I believe they had a few structural problems. Ross was a better fisherman than a boat builder!
