looking for some help on which 2nd hand 6-7 metre boat for offshore fishing blokes find the best performing in my price range. will need to be half cab for overnighters and stable at rest for drifting over offshore lumps. would look at either inboard or outboard.would like a solid glass as i have ally at the moment and would like something a bit smoother riding and dryer . any help would be much appreciated

hmmmmm, doubt $15-25K would buy too much, would it? Not in 6-7m's

Saw a late 1980's vintage Haines in that size a few months back and that was closer to $30K

You would get a nice cat for that money. An 18 footer would give you good cabin room, plenty of deck space etc.

You would be looking at more like 5.5 - 6m at that price... unless you want to buy a piece of crap.

At 7m you will be looking at minimum mid 30's for something like a haines or early model 23ft bertram.

A reasonable 23ft bertram will cost you mid 40's

The 6m Yalta Odessa would suit nicely

V19 Haines

18ft Sharkcat

18ft Hydrofield Jaguar

Good luck :)
