New to boating and new to this site. After some advice as to a suitable GPS for a boat. Only a novice and suggestions are welcome

Whatever brand you decide on, go color if you can stretch the budget. Much better definition between marker bouys and beacons in my opinion.

I have a Navman 5505 with a cmap and fuel flow meter and I can not fault it. Its one of the cheaper brands around and it was in my budget.
