Just thought i would share some pics of my boat project that is now 95% finished. It goes to show that you dont need a massive bank loan or too save for years to go chase barra etc in comfort. All up it cost me $4000.00
Upgrades included buying the boat 4.2 meter stacer with trailer needing attention and a 96 model motor in great condition.
The trailer was sandblasted, primed and resprayed. New leaf springs, tires, bolts, pins, washers. Also new wheel bearings.
Boat was taken back to bare aluminium and primed with aluminium primer and resprayed grey.
I built all the framing to hold the deck up with square aluminium lengths. All the decking went in and carpet aswell as trapdoors. Added a seat and pedistal, drink holders, sounder and electric motor ( maxxum bow mount with foot control). Also bought a large deep cycle battery, nav lights and decl lighting and all new wiring and connections. All screws used are stainless steel and all rivets were sealed aluminium rivets. Anyways here are some before and after pics, hope yas like it!!

Bewdifull! Top job you must be very pleased with the result of your hard work. Great to see someone turn a basic boat into a fishing machine, a really neat fishing machine. I say it again exellent work.

Andrew.
