I have a 4.88mt half cabin that needs the floor repaired. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

About $1500-2500 will be the repair range.

that price I am sure would only be for the floor, with my experience if the floor is gone there will also be subfloor damage. My opinion for what its worth.

Howzat..keep us in the loop. This and many other threads keeps me thinking that an ausfish directory of recomended repairers, mechanics etc. would be worthwhile! Lawry

Hi guys,

just keeping you all in the loop. I found a guy on this site, jims boat repairs, anyway he is doing it for me. It turned out that half the floor was rotted, stringers included. Transom was just as bad and has to be replaced. I am getting a little bit of work done on the outside and 2 new seats put in. The cost for this is $500 for seats with pedastools and $3700 for the rest of the work. Taking around 2 weeks. When i get the boat back i will let you all know how it went.

Thanksfor the replies
