Just wondering if anyone has tryed one of these anchors.

These have been around for a long time. I would say since the eighties.
But I have never heard of anyone useing them. So I am guessing that they are not as good as they make out to be. Otherwise by now the word would have gotten around and everyone would be useing them if they were really as good as they make out. My worry would be not being able to use chain. This means that the pull on the line will be direct from the bow to the anchor. So I have my doubts about the holding capacity of it and the ability to "dig in". he have a test on their video with a 4WD but that is pulling almost parallel to the ground as the towbar is only about 500mm off the ground if that. This is noway near the pulling direction from the bow of a boat.
