or send the deckie over the top of the motor ;)

tilt motor up and stand on aux motor bracket and if deckie available get them to hang onto the back of ya shirt and hope ya dont drop the spanner (only carry one of those), always carry a spare nut kit too.
Have I had to change one, yep, twice cause sometime when fishing close to the rocks I get 2 close.
