SAFETY GEAR ???

Is there any difference between offshore requirements & Inshore . Besides EPIRB'S .
I think I have the right gear but not sure ? I've been to the Q TRANSPORT Website but
it not very clear to me . ( unless i'm a dummy ) Any help would be great !!!

I think any confusion with safety gear in Qld arises when attempting to decipher the MSQ "Guide to Recreational Boating and Fishing in Qld" handbook. There are pages with compulsory equipment and pages with advisory equipment to carry. In my mind, all the gear they 'advise' to carry should be 'compulsory' to carry.

Their safety standards are national standards and superior to anything MSQ may invent.
