ya know I got asked to go over there about 12 months ago to fix 2 of there 50s glad I said NO. they were offering a weeks free accommodation + air fare. ::)

There are no outboard service people in the area they have to be flown in, Looks like they get a hard life

The second photo is a little island we found up the top. Truely stunning. The people are terrific. :)

Gary they now have black motors on the back of their boats, starting with "S". Now doubt their fate will be the same. A bloke with skills could have a very nice working holiday over there. :D

By the way I'm backing the Holdens (as I do) for another win at Bathurst tommorow. Holdens p#ss on Fords ;D ;D. Anyone going to get all serious and w#nky about that as well. #;D ;D ;D

Wouldn't matter if it was any make of outboard, every engine has it's mechanical limitations. The carbed 4 stroke Hondas would be alot easier to fix then some of that over-sophisticated temprementel junk thats on the market today.

Our Coastguard has twin Hondas (150s I think), theyve had them for a while now, about 3 years and are still going well. Anything wrong with that?? [smiley=grin.gif] [smiley=grin.gif]
