winches and anchors

I am after some info on what type to winch and anchor I will need for an old trawler, it is 33' about 6 tonnes displacement. I like the look of the Sarca anchor.

also look at the CQR plough type anchor, they have holding power exceeding bigger heavier anchors.
They're easier to stow on a bow sprit than in a locker however.

8mm short link chain and about a 15kg CQR anchor should work for your size vessel.

Muir is a renowned name in anchor winches/windlasses, there are cheaper, but Muir has the runs on the board.
