Mine pushes a 6mtr Wahoo long boat and has done about 100 hours with no problems other than the initial teething problems I have experienced with other new motors. It is very economical, has a great hole shot, is quiet, although not as quiet as the 4 stroke 60HP Yamaha I had but still very quiet and easy to hold conversation without yelling,no fumes, idles all day without problem, has lost the badge off the top of the motor cover because they dont stick it on well, has lost some paint off the prop because that's not stuck on well either.
What more can I say

I got one, pushes a 5.m Quintrex Cuddy CaB

Very Quiet, great on fuel although I dont feep figures, no fumes, great off the mark (is that what you call hole shot?)

Only problems I have had are with the tilt trim and the engine being mounted too high.

I'd recommend it to anyone.

Cheers

When under way the motor wouldn't tilt down (towards the boat) under 10 knots it wasnt a problem but when flat out, trying to get the boat to plane, it was.

The dealer said it was a fairly common occurance and took about 10 minutes to fix under warranty. I dont know the exact cause.

Hope this helps you,

Geoff

If the 90 is anything like my 175, it will be as sweet as.

I can do around 150 km out to the Hards and back and when cruising at around 3,000 - 3,500 rpm (which gives me around 20 knots) I will chew on average no more than 40 litres.

You've gotta be happy with that.

The fuel consumption on the troll is amazing.
Open it up and you will see the guage go down!!!

Cheers

Mark
