fuel ratios

I have an old Bertram 25 which I have replaced the inboards with a 225 evinrude on a pod, being a second hand engine i'm not sure of the fuel ratios can anyone help. The dealer I got it from said 100:1 but other people have said 50:1

my suggestion would be to ask the manufacture this way its straight from the horses mouth
but 100:1 seems lean if your at full or close to full throttle allot
too much lube is better than not enough ;D
