I recently purchased a 25` Weatherby or Weatherly fibreglass displacement, x spanna crab boat which my wife & I rebuilt working tirelessly on saturdays for the last 18 months when not on call. Hopefully to be in the water by x`mas. I believe they were built in Cardwell QLD. Can anybody give me any further information on these boats? I am trying to find out the origion of these boats & if I have the type of boat name right & are they still being made? Also I am told that this particular boat because of it`s large keel it is going to be a really good sea boat. This is my 1st displacement boat as I have only had 17` to19` 1/2 cabins before. Without pushing it to much any good marks out of Gladstone QLD. would be appreciated as I do`nt know these waters here only off Cairns.
