Bogged tinny

Ive got a stessyl Vagabond 3.7 tinny with 15 yammy 2 st.
Problem is it doesn't want to get up on plane.
carry all the necessary #gear plus 2 people and electric and battery.
It is running a 9.25X10.5 (I think) prop.( its hard to read)
Once i get it up it will do 37 KPH on smooth water
Any ideas please!!!!!!

Perhaps the trim might need adjusting? or, the motor may not be at the correct height on the transom?

Does it sit with it's nose in the air when you're trying to get it on the plane, and if so, have you tried moving the weight for'ard?

37 k/ph out of a 15 wow sounds a big prop.

yeah, i can get 60 km/h out of my 02 merc 15. it matters how angled the transom is. try putting it in second pin

Sorry havnt been on for a while.
Yes the nose comes up and she wont rev out,
Have shifted the battery up front.
The pin is in the last hole.Could it be trimmed in too far???
By moving the passenger forward she climbs out and goes ok.but drops back in if i slow to cross a wake or something and have to go forward again to get her up..
Would VIAGRA help??????????????????

Hi Jim.
Mate i have/had the same problem with an 18 Tohy on a 3.75 Allycraft Cody. I'm looking at getting a foil for it as I have been told that will help, but in the meantime I found by moving as much weight forward as possible makes it perform loads bettter.
If i use a piece of pvc pipe to enable me to throttle/steer from further forward (something I do for better visibility) then she goes straight up onto the plane.
I have moved the motor through all of the pin slots many times, but found one worked better (but not much) than the others. I suggest you see what you can do to increase the weight at the front.

thanx mate.in the process of movin everything up front.minre goes ok when i walk up front but she tends to go walkabout when i let go of the tiller!!!!! ::) ::)
