Assuming a 2 banger Jez, i reckon about $300 (including waterpump) should see you right.

I can't help you as I'm in Melbourne, but it will be interestign tosee what prices you come up with.

Cheers,

Nicholas

G'day
Go and see the guys at wondall road marine. Very good down there, as is wynnum marine and the little bloke in the shed next to the manly mower centre has a good rep.

g,day just had 50 hp 2 stroke merc serviced(200hrs) in wagga .just under $300 bucks all up , you will find boat will idle better and no fumes due to the fact they should do a de-carbon clean on it, new plugs, water pump, check all settings, and so on labour was the biggest killer
good luck

springwood marine have impressed me in the past (in the service dept)

des hasler (?) on north rd at woodridge is a private gun merc mechanic - one of the few mercury have recognised for warranty issues (that I know of) in the past - he's well worth a call if you are shy of the big guys
