i'm thinking of running my tank up the front of my 4.6 dory
i will be using 10mm hose at about 4.5m of it.
is this too long :question :question :question
i've got a 2004 60hp merc 2st if this makes any difference
it would be interesting how long other peoples hoses are [smiley=jester.gif] [smiley=jester.gif] [smiley=jester.gif]

Shouldn't be any worries in that short length. #:)
How long does it take for you to use 25litres at WOT??

I bet you it's quicker to syphon 25litres out the end of the fuel hose then the time it takes to use it in the motor at WOT.

Hi kleyny...It will have no effect at all....go for you life and put your tank up there

What Finga says, for a 60hp no problems with that length and diameter although larger is always better but doubt it would make a difference though in your case.

The length is not the important bit ;) it's the seal that counts!
