mercruiser sterndrive leg question

Does anyone know where I can look at a schematic of an alpha 1 leg, I noticed something that doesn't look quite right, and want to see how it should really be.

I have workshop manual you can come have a look at if you live near the Sunshine Coast. Maybe this will Tell you.
