View Full Version : From ski boat to bream boat

This is my project as i had to much time on my hand is i was off work & board doing noting both old runabout that needed full rebuild.Stage one cut the top deck off transom & floor, stage tow put in new floor & transom + build front & rear deck side console live well rod locker tackle locker + 2 storage areas,build new top deck front & rear sections rolled the hull upside down for painting,stage three made lids for lockers+carpeted paint top half in maganta red,stage four rebuild 70hp johnson,stage five rebuild & painted trailer,boat is near complition in week or two as i`ll be back at work.some pics of the rebuild.more reb

Very nice most of the old prides are looking pretty tired nowadays.How stable is she?

wow. that is a top job. very impressive, and in only 8 weeks.
makes my 2 yr long project (so far) seem a bit lacking in dedication.

Mate, that is Sweeeeet! although I'm not sure about the colour. You have almost compleated what I am just starting. Great to see there are other like minded fisher fools out there. I have just bought a X ski boat hull and am planing the conversion to bream/trout comp boat. Your layout looks pretty good, what length hull is it? How does she sit/stabillity up front? Any tips / advice prior to starting?

hi Steve i had to finished in 8 weeks before my holidays were up.
feralchook i took the boat on water inc. all the gear & move things around till i was happy marked every thing.
