Gidday all,
Well the cooks tells me a bit annal when it comes to cleaning the boat after every trip and giving them a polish once or twice a year (or more if I'm bored). I tell her a clean boat goes faster...

So how often do you all give the poor old tub a really good tubbin' and polish and why??

This is all your fault Kopey #:)

Lucky I guess, my deckie (Ida) always does the clean up at the end of the day.

But, yes I have been "everywhere", once, with the fibreglass cutting polish, come up good too. ( took me weeks )

My next door neighbour has a Polycraft, and it looks particularly good after a polish. He polishes it about once every second month.

G'day
I dont polish y boat... it's an unpainted tinny.

As for my clients, I reccomend polishing at maximum every 8 months for boats stored outside.

Like I always say, As long as you use quality products and proven methods there should be no dramas.

every 6-9 months for me. don't care much about boat speed, it goes plenty fast enough, polishing em keeps em looking smart. nothing worse than seeing my $20k sitting in the carport looking ordinary:)

Thought about polishing the tinnie once, didn't want to blind anyone whilst towing. ;D ;D

Some knobs are blind enough. ;D
