It seems there are major improvements that need to be made to boat testing to ensure safety in a wide range of situations that we may find ourselves faced with and some we may not.

The link provides an example of a test that could be applied to boats probably with a range of interesting outcomes ::) ::)

Great test! Yeah right!

forget water based flotation tests etc, lets just ram the boat into a tree while on dry land.

Really doesn't matter if my boat passes {it won't}I cant see any lifejacket being much help in that "real world situation"
