Hi
Am considering going across the Pin this weekend - the wind and waves look to be about as good as they ever will be. I will be going out about 5:30-6:00 which should be about an hour after low on the run in (assuming that the tides at the bar are a little ahead of the "brisbane bar" tide times).
Questions are:
Will there be enough water over the bar at this stage of the tide.
Do you go straight out or is there a south eastern facing channel you should use
Is this a crazy idea and should I stick to South Passage or the Seaway. (Just a thought that by the time I drive into Jacob's well from the highway and then get out to the bar, should I just go down the coast and use the Seaway and then come back up the length of South Straddy)
Anyone else going out that I can follow? :)
