A chance for others to learn from my stupidity!. If a chart says you can"t go between two islands it's probobly a safe bet that you can"t. Lucky no serious damage done.

That looks like a Cobby Cobby job. The rock bar in there has claimed a few over the years.

How did you do so much damage?

Hey Horse,you picked the place right, funny thing is I went through the other way 10 mins before no probs, must have picked a slightly different line?. I think the prop must have taken most of the impact because the skeg is hardly marked so thats why it looks so bad. You could call that lucky I suppose. Finga,no its a poor Johno.

Garry, had a look at your ad in for sale section. my motor is a 70- prop was 13 1/4 x 17 so unfortunately they wont fit. Thanks anyway.

You are far from the first to hit those rocks. :-X

I reckon that they were probably put there by outboard manufacturers as its a graveyard for a lot of

props and lower legs :'(
