Hi guys,

about to fork over the hard earned for a 5.1m TABS centre console - haven't been able to go out for a run in one though, can't find any in that size rigged up and i injured my knee a while back.

can anyone shed any light on how they handle the chop and how hard they bang about ?

i know tinnies will bang a fair bit, hoping to get something that's a little smoother than the average. plan is to head out to the 50's and wider.

any general feedback on the TABS range also welcomed.

cheers,
dools

Dools, I have a 5.35 terriotory pro C/C. It has a 140 4s Johnson ala suzuki on the back. I cannot fault it. The hull weight is 800kgs and with the motor 193 kgs adds to a very good ride in a chop.
Had it out in 1.5 m chop on the bay, at a safe speed there was no pounding like you get in a pressed hull, I will admit it gets wet depending on which way you travel to swell direction, but hey it"s an open boat,so you would expect to get a bit of spray. Need any more info sent me a p.m. and I can send some photo's as well.
