54 cm Silver Perch, caught on a hand made red cedar lure, I made some 12 years ago. Line 15 lb fireline on a Shimano Bantam 10Xsg Baitcaster,
Rod is a Ugly Stik BC56A.
Fish was the largest of 5 caught and released that morning in Storm King Dam near Stanthorpe, by casting from a boat towards a rocky point and slow retrieve in 4 metres of water. Large Silvers still take lures even though they become vegetarian as they get older.
