Hey Neil,
We were on the water for about 5 hours and it was a very cool 5 hours. The water was between 16 and 17deg and it felt warm compaired to the air temp. We ended up with 5 fish in the boat and a couple of missed hits. Fair bit of bait moving around on the surface early on before the sun hit the water. The water may have been cold but it didnt take any of the fight out of the sooty's. Have a look in the test board as another one of the fish is there. Also we droped a barra out at Teemburra a couple of weeks ago. Got her up to the boat but Rods line busted and we just watched her slowly swim away. Would have been up around the 80cm mark. Bait was exploding out of the water every where, just like being in the salt. Late arvo fish. Soft plastic again.
