Been away alot of late chasing these beauties.
Its from Awoonga about 2 weeks ago. Bugger me I`m having a ball chasing them!! Big learning curve indeed!!!

Back again for more this weekend.

Blommy just got back from there, said he got one 50cm (only fish ::)) He recons they were hitting the floating cow pats to knock the beatles out :o :o, sounds like a load of bullshit to me, :-X, just got a message for dates of Faust this year ,BRING IT ON [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] Chris.

George....yes mate, the gold Arafura 130mm did it again with this one. I was with Bomber and he was teasing them up with a fizzer and I was dropping the arafura in on top of the fizzer and got BLAMMED by this specimen.

Chris....Bloomy sounds like he may have found out the Awonga Barra secret mate!! Toss cow turds in and wait!! ;D
Looking forward to catching up again on a big barra impoundment sometime this year.

Too much wind for Awoonga...so headed south to get away from the winds!! Did`nt work, Glenlyon was windy too.

Did however manage to get fish...will post photos later.

Basserman.....the poly performed faultlessly mate!! I cannot break this boat!!!

Crikey Randall, these barra picts are enuf to make one cry.. stuck living a few hours drive away from such awesome looking fish.. tis unfair.. heh bloody good fish mate, you and Bomber must be onto something...golden there hehehe

Tim...these are the biggies that live up in shallow Tannin stained water areas. They are ambush fish up there and you usually have absolutely no warning when they hit your lure!!

Great sports fish.
