Awoonga Report

Went to Awoonga on 18,19,20,21 , very bad timing as we caught tail of Larry. Water was very hard to fish with waves nearly three feet high. Definately not the place for a small boat. I had trouble keeping the prop. of the Minn Kota in the water the boat was ducking and diving so much. We caught nothing but there were a few nice Barra caught trolling. I'm off to Glen Lyon dam this weekend so having met Larry last weekend I'm not looking forward to meeting Watty this weekend.

Sorry 'bout the weather m8. :( We appreciate visitors coming to Awoonga but can't control the winds. We could use heaps of rain though. Better luck next time.

Thanks kayak1 thats all part and parcel of fishing you take the good with the bad. I'll be back next year for sure, great place.
