Hi All

Decided to go and look for a few bass after seeing the posts of a few guys getting them as far down as Chinderah.
Rang up a mate and arranged to meet at my place at 5:30 the next morning but by 6:15 still no sign and no answer on the phone so decided to go alone. Headed down to the river and started to hit a few spots with top water first. Got a few bream straight up and then had a huge hit on the eddies. Managed to drag a 40cm Bass out of the sticks. Got a few more on minnows and softies with a few bream and flatties thrown in to keep it interesting. Here is a pic of the 40cm bass on the top water. Its not too often you can get a bream a flattie and a bass of the same snag in three casts.

Cheers Rod.

Hi Rod,

In all the years I've fished around Chinderah, I've never come across a bass there.
