Two diffrent dams... ..Fished the Bassin comp last week...at Somerset not a hit :'( :'( just spent two days at Caina with Wheezer. Andrew and l had a top time over forty fish caught ...all released...all types...Yellas, Slivers and the mighty Bass Good size.. our biggest was 43....When we returned to the ramp there where a few eel tailed catfish hanging around.... They didnt look well.....Swimming around fins out of the water belly up....Maybe the cold weather is not too there liking.... :'(

Awoonga,
Can you give me some hints suitable tackle (lures etc.) to catch the fish in Cania. I will be there in a few weeks time.
Cheers,
BillB

Ok here goes... most types of Lippless cranks seen to work...Just chuck them at the rock walls... as close as you can ..Or you can use SPs .Sliders. The comp last month was won on Garry Glitter type SPs or you could even try Spinnerbaits with a stinger hook on them.. The white/ light yellow or even purple ones..... Top place Cania
