Im pretty new to fishing.

Whats the best bait to use at southport beach on the land side (not the part were seaworld is lol)

also is the logan river at waterford boat ramp any good?

These are the 2 places i have been so far

Off the bank since i dont have a boat

Hi Bradley,
mainly sharks,eels,catfish but I know people get the bread and butter species up there on occasions.Bream,flatty,whiting and I've heard of jacks up there aswell.

grab yaself the january issue of bush n beach..there is a write up where to fish from the banks along the broadwater..tells u the name of the streets..best times baits, rigs
