We fish down around Iluka over christmas and flatties are often on the menu. So I would say they should definately be around.

Where you from Michael?.If you're from the south east coast of Qld or the north coast of nsw then you'll get flatties just about every where any time mate.

Hi, try the banks around snipe/pelican banks/or up in rainbow ch try wanga wallen banks/or drift thru dialba passage and the banks thru to aminty banks, even in maroom hole. flood tides

i got a flattie on the south east freeway last week, right in peak hour traffic..biggest ever..yeh an thanks brian for sayin to burn me bloody boat..ya bugger

Mick,You live at the bay & want to know if you get flattie at christmas :P :P :P :P :P :P,My best advice is get to the Franger night at the Uni on the 29th of this month & get more flattie info than you can poke a flick stick at.Cheers T.><> ><> ><>.

I'm fishin the Bellinger river all week while i'm on holidays & they reckon the flattys are goin orrrf down here at present ;D
pity it's pissin down rain, tomorrow should be fun ;D

it was pissin down tho ???

only got two small ones today, dropped a biggun tho.

tides are not good this week with mid-morning highs, makin the most of it tho.
gunna do some night sessions

If you are fishing around Patonga in the Hawksbury system, try drifting between the headland & Patonga about 30 - 40 feet out from the bank on a run up tide early in the morning.
