On a darker note, when i asked my missus if thats how you spell ''aerial'' she said''whats it matter you's are all a bunch of dumba$$ fisherman they wont know either'' :o :'(

Nice aerial :P photos Scotty. Makes you appreciate what a marvellous eco & aqua system the Maroochy River really is. My folks own a unit on the river just off the end of the first pic and I love spending w/ends down there .... great sunrises from the balcony! :)

Thanks for sharing! I get the kids had a ball in the chopper too. ::)

Top shots Scotty...especially the one of the river mouth clearly showing the northern channel.

Great pics Nofrills.
I used to live in Banyandah Towers back in the mid eighties. A couple of mates and I used to spear fish around to the right of that little island. There was always heaps of bream and whiting schooling there and along the opposite banks. We'd drop the sp'guns into the water very early in the day and make sure we weren't seen with the sp above the water. Mullet schools were plentiful too. Chopper Tailor would venture into the river occasionally too.
